Vale Mavis Christine Cann

SBA is saddened by the news of the passing of Mavis Cann on Sunday 26 June 2022.

Mavis was an active SBA member throughout the late 1970s, 80s and 90s and was involved in many aspects of the SBA community as the Treasurer, a much-loved coach of numerous under 12 girls representative teams, and an avid supporter of the Tigers.

SBA would like to extend its deepest sympathies to Mavis’ husband and SBA Life Member, Warwick Cann and to her children Shane, Michelle, Rhys and Luke and to all those who knew and loved Mavis.

Mavis’ funeral will be held on Friday 15 July at Sanctuary Cove, Queensland.
