Strategic Planning Timeline

We’re excited to share that SBA has embarked on building a Strategic Plan to take us through 2023-2028. 

Thank you to everyone who participated in the survey – the winners of the 2 x 50% reduction of fees for Winter Seasons will be notified by email.

Basketball NSW has shared their recommendations and feedback from the recent member survey. We’re looking forward to sharing some statistics with you in the near future. 

We’ll be conducting member consultation groups over the next couple of months to support the development of the Strategic Plan. The timeline for these events is outlined below.

Timeline

1. Board Workshop 1 with BNSW CEO, Maria Nordstrom (29 April)
2. Board Workshop 2 with BNSW CEO, Maria Nordstrom (13 May)
3. Nominations due for Directors, Life Members, and Notices of Motion (18 May)
4. 2022 Financial Walkthrough (5 June @ 5.30pm)
5. AGM (13 June @ 5.30pm)
6. Stakeholder Focus Groups – coach, referee, and parent (May-June)
7. Communications Workshop & Tigers Brand Refresh (July)
8. Strategic Plan Launch (September)

Update October 2023: The Strategic Plan will be launched at an Association Day in early 2024. This allows time to put the finishing touches on and avoid launching during the busy Summer Season/Rep/EOY time.
