Summer 24/25 Domestic Competition

It is that time of the year again! Registration for our Summer 24/25 Competitions is now open via Basketball Connect! See the details relevant to you below!

IMPORTANT – New Registration Platform

SBA is transitioning to a new registration platform ‘Basketball Connect’. Please note, the following:

1. Existing financial members’ details will be transferred from the current GameDay platform.
2. Members will verify their profile information when registering.
3. New members can easily register by selecting the new user option.

JUNIORS

In the first week of the season SBA will host Muster, this is where all players who have registered for the season come along for a training session, in which our coaches will assess and create fair teams. The competition will start the following week, you will be notified of your team beforehand via email. To attend Muster players must have paid their season fees.

Muster dates and times:

*Please note, that game times may differ from Muster times. Younger age groups will be given earlier time slots.

**Please note, that all players registered by Muster will be placed on a team. SBA cannot guarantee participation for late registrations. Speak to the office before registering after Muster.     

*Please note, if your child would like to play with another, you can request so by completing this form by Sunday 13 October 2024. SBA will take said requests into consideration when organising teams, however we cannot guarantee your request will be met. Please note, requests made after this date will not be considered. U19 Boys & U10s do not require a Muster. See Competition start dates below.

U19 Boys –Team Nominations

U19 Boys create and nominate their teams. Teams can be nominated using the Google form linked below.

FEES & REGISTRATION

Registration for our Summer 24/25 season will open on Tuesday 10th September.

Annual Registration:

• $25 (<8yo)
• $65.00 (8-11yo)
• $90.00 (12-17yo)

Season Fees (Excl. U10s): 1 Season = 2 school terms = $250 – This can be paid in full or in two instalments. The first instlament is due at the time of registration and the second is due the first Thursday of the second term of the season. 

Domestic playing singlet: $50.00 – This can be purchased at the SBA office or through Basketball Connect and can then be collected from the SBA office after purchase.

U10s Fees & Registration

Participants must register in Aussie Hoops first! Aussie Hoops registration will open on Monday 23 September. More details will be sent to Aussie Hoop participants about how they register for the U10s Competition before the start of term 4.

• Aussie Hoops Returning Participant: $104
• Aussie Hoops New Participant: $154 (Includes participant pack, with ball, singlet, and sticker sheet)

The U10 competition will take place on Thursday directly after Aussie Hoops. 

Please note, that Aussie Hoop participants moving into competitions are entitled to 1 year of FREE annual registration and SBA will be waiving season fees for this term!

SENIORS

Team Nominations

Senior & U19s Competitions will start on Tuesday, 15 October 2024, and run for 20 weeks (two school terms, breaking in the school holidays).

Senior and U19 Boys create and nominate their teams which the team delegate can do using the Google form below.

Junior Player Movement Requests – Juniors Playing in Seniors

If you are looking to play in a competition instead of or in addition to your age group, you will need to complete a Junior Player Movement Request form. These requests are approved on a season-by-season basis so payers who have been approved for Winter 2024 season will need to submit a new request for Winter 2024.

You can access the form on the SBA Website or by CLICKING HERE. Please complete it and return it to the SBA office either in person or via email.
