JUNIOR GIRLS SUMMER SWISH COMPETITION | NEW FOR THIS SUMMER!

This fun and welcoming 10-week competition makes it easy for girls to play basketball with their friends. It’s simple for schools and clubs to organise, exciting for students, and perfect for both beginners and experienced players.

Schools and winter sports clubs can nominate a team by completing a quick Google Form—after that, SBA takes care of everything: registration, fees, and providing coaches (unless a parent or teacher would like to step in).

DON’T HAVE A TEAM?

Don’t have a team organised but still want to play? Simply register for the competition and enter “find me a team” as your team’s name. SBA will place you in a team so you can get straight into the fun!

Competitions:

GIRLS FEES & REGISTRATION

Registration for our Summer Swish Competition will open on Monday 1 September 2025. Fees per player and are made up of two components, annual Registration & term fees.

• Annual Registration:
  • $71 (8-11yo); OR
  • $96 (12-17yo); OR
  • $111 (18+yo)
• Term Fees:
  • Returning Players: $146.50 + annual rego
  • New Players: First two weeks are FREE for new players; fee for the remaining 8 weeks $114 + annual rego.
• Domestic playing singlet: $55.00 – This can be purchased at the SBA office or through Basketball Connect when registering. You can then collect your singlet from the SBA office after purchase.

Payment Options:

• Annual registration – If due, Annual Registration will be automatically applied, to the total registration fee, although the registration platform (Basketball Connect) does not explicitly say this.
• In full – Upfront payment at the time of registration
• Instalments – Two instalments – one to be paid at the time of registration and the second instalment will be automatically direct debited on Thursday 13 November (Week 5 of the comp)
• Payment Plan – Email enquiries@shoalhavenbasketball.com.au to receive a personalised link to create a customised payment plan through Basketball Connect
• Active Kids Vouchers are accepted – If you can’t process through Basketball Connect, contact the office BEFORE registering and we can manually process these.

JUNIOR BOYS DOMESTIC COMPETITION

In the first week of the season SBA will host Muster, this is where all players who have registered for the season come along for a training session, in which our coaches will assess and create fair teams. The competition will start the following week; you will be notified of your team beforehand via email. To attend Muster players must have paid their season fees.

Muster dates and times:

*Please note, that game times may differ from Muster times. Younger age groups will be given earlier time slots.

**Please note, that all players registered by Muster will be placed on a team. SBA cannot guarantee participation for late registrations. Speak to the office before registering after Muster.     

*Please note, if your child would like to play with another, you can request so by completing this form by Sunday 28 September 2025. SBA will take said requests into consideration when organising teams, however we cannot guarantee your request will be met. Please note, requests made after this date will not be considered. U19 Boys & U10s do not require a Muster. See Competition start dates below.

U19 Boys –Team Nominations

U19 Boys create and nominate their teams. Teams can be nominated using the Google form linked below.

U10s Mixed Fees & Registration

Participants must register in Aussie Hoops first! Aussie Hoops registration will open on Monday 1 September 2025.

• Aussie Hoops Returning Participant: $125
• Aussie Hoops New Participant: $175 (Includes participant pack, with ball, singlet, and sticker sheet)

The U10 competition will take place on Thursday (5pm) directly after Aussie Hoops and all Aussie Hoops participants are invited to attend for FREE.

Junior Player Movement Requests – Juniors playing up or down an age group

If you are looking to play in a competition instead of or in addition to your age group, you will need to complete a Junior Player Movement Request form. These requests are approved on a season-by-season basis so payers who have been approved for Winter 2025 season will need to submit a new request for Summer 25/26.

Junior Boys Domestic Fees & Registration (Excl. U10s)

Registration for our Summer 25/26 season will open on Monday 1 September.

• Annual Registration: $71 (8-11yo) OR $96 (12-17yo) OR $111 (18+yo)
• Junior Season Fees: 1 Season = 2 school terms = $285
• Domestic playing singlet: $55.00 – This can be purchased at the SBA office or through Basketball Connect and can then be collected from the SBA office after purchase.

SENIORS

Senior Team Nominations

Senior Competitions will start on Tuesday, 14 October 2025, and run for 20 weeks (two school terms, breaking in the school holidays).

Senior teams create and nominate their teams which the team delegate can do using the Google form below.

When completing the nomination form, please ensure you read and understand the information provided on the first page.
