Summer Swish 2.0 Girls Domestic Competition

WHAT IS SUMMER SWISH 2.0?

We’re excited to launch Summer Swish 2.0 — our refreshed Term 1 2026, junior girls’ competition! Developed with SBA’s Domestic Competitions & Community Development Sub-committee, the program continues to grow with one clear goal: to help more girls get involved, build confidence, and enjoy basketball.

Following a review of our Term 4 program, we’ve made some structural changes to create a fairer, more competitive, and more enjoyable experience. We remain focused on fun, friendship, and inclusivity, with schools and sporting clubs encouraged to nominate teams—making it easier than ever to play with friends.

So, what’s new? The competition structure itself!
