We’re excited to launch Summer Swish 2.0 — our refreshed Term 1 2026, junior girls’ competition! Developed with SBA’s Domestic Competitions & Community Development Sub-committee, the program continues to grow with one clear goal: to help more girls get involved, build confidence, and enjoy basketball.
Following a review of our Term 4 program, we’ve made some structural changes to create a fairer, more competitive, and more enjoyable experience. We remain focused on fun, friendship, and inclusivity, with schools and sporting clubs encouraged to nominate teams—making it easier than ever to play with friends.
So, what’s new? The competition structure itself!
COMPETITIONS:
| COMPETITION/AGE GROUP | PLAYS ON | COMPETITION STARTS | AGE TURNING IN 2026 |

** Players turning 17yo or older in 2026 will join our women’s competition. Games are on Tuesdays at 6 or 7 pm. If this is you, email enquiries@shoalhavenbasketball.com.au and SBA will help place you in a team or if you have any questions or concerns, we are happy to help and talk options.

Bottoms: Players may wear any shorts, tights, or pants they feel comfortable being active in. These should either match the singlet or be majority black, and must not have pockets, eyelets, zippers, or external drawstrings, as these can cause injury.
Shoes: Players must wear enclosed shoes that they are comfortable being active in.
