Winter 2026 U19 Boys & Senior Domestic Competitions

Registration for Winter 2026 Domestic Competitions is now open!

The Winter season runs for 20 weeks (21 April to 23 September) with a break during the school holidays.

Don’t forget, when you register, you are committing to both terms.

Key Dates:

  • Monday 9 March: Registration Opens for Juniors & Seniors (must register before the competition commences)
  • Sunday 5 April: Senior & U19B Team Nominations close
  • Sunday 19 April: Registration closes.
  • Tuesday 21: U19B & Senior Games Begin
  • 4-19 April: Mid-Season Break
  • 5 July: The second payment instalment will be taken for those who chose to pay via instalments.
  • 22-23 September: Grand Final Week

U19 Boys COMPETITIONS

Everything you need to play in the U19 boys basketball during Winter 2026

U19 BOYS (turning 16, 17 or 18 in 2026)

Basketball is back for a two-term (20-week) Winter season.

During Winter Season 2026, players in the U19s boys can join a team in two ways:
– create and nominate a team
– contact the office to organise a team to join

COMPETITION INFORMATION

Games are played on Tuesdays from 4-6 pm.
Boys turning 16, 17 or 18yo in 2026
Season fees are due BEFORE the competition starts.

NOMINATE A TEAM
Teams nominate by completing a quick Google Form. Nominate your team here before Sunday 5 April.

To enter a team, you must:
– identify a team delegate to manage all communication with the team
– nominate two duty referees
– complete rostered score table duty throughout the season

The extended age bracket allows players to stay with their school-age teammates rather than move up to seniors. Players who turn 18 this year can choose to play Seniors instead of U19B.

TOO YOUNG FOR U19S BUT WANT TO PLAY UP?
Players wanting to play in a competition at a higher or younger age group must complete the Player Movement Request.

SENIOR MEN

SENIOR MEN (turning 18+yo in 2026)

Basketball is back for a two-term (20-week) Winter season.

During Winter Season 2026, players in senior men can join a team in two ways:
– create and nominate a team
– contact the office to organise a team to join

Men turning 18yo+ in 2026
Season fees are due BEFORE the competition starts.

JUNIOR PLAYER MOVEMENT REQUEST

JUNIOR PLAYER MOVEMENT REQUESTS (PLAYERS PLAYING UP OR DOWN AN AGE GROUP)
If you are looking to play in a competition instead of or in addition to your age group, you will need to complete a Junior Player Movement Request form. These requests are approved on a season-by-season basis so payers who have been approved for Summer 25/26 season will need to submit a new request for Winter 2026.

Search ‘Shoalhaven Basketball’ for your organisation, then select ‘Junior Domestic Competition’ – Winter 2026 from the list of Programs/Competitions.

SENIOR MEN & WOMEN:
Search ‘Shoalhaven Basketball’ for your organisation, then select ‘Senior Domestic Competition – Winter 2026′ or, for U19 Boys, ‘Junior Domestic Competition – Winter 2026′ from the list of Programs/Competitions.

FEES & REGISTRATION

Registration for our Winter 2026 Competitions open on Monday 9 March 2026. Fees are per player and are made up of two components, Membership and Season fees.

MEMBERSHIP FEE
8-11yo: $88 (yearly) OR $63 (6 monthly)
12yo+: $101 (yearly) OR $76 (6 monthly)

SEASON FEE
Season fees can be paid in instalments, see payment options below for more details.
U19 Boys: $285
Senion Men & Women: $342
Junior players participating in two competitions receive a 50% discount on the second competition. Learn more here.

DOMESTIC PLAYING SINGLET: $55.00
Purchase online during the registration process (collect from the office before your first game) or at the SBA office.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

  • Membership – If due, Membership will be automatically applied to the total registration fee, although the registration platform (Basketball Connect) does not explicitly say this.
  • In full – Upfront payment at the time of registration
  • Instalments – Two instalments – one to be paid at the time of registration, and the second instalment will be automatically direct debited on Thursday, 2 July.
  • Payment Plan – Email enquiries@shoalhavenbasketball.com.au to receive a personalised link to create a customised payment plan through Basketball Connect
  • Active Kids Vouchers are accepted. If you can’t process your AKV through Basketball Connect, contact the office BEFORE registering, and we can process them manually.
