REFEREES MAKE THE GAME HAPPEN

WHAT IS THE SHOALHAVEN TIGERS REFEREE PROGRAM?

Becoming a referee is the perfect way to develop your understanding of the game. Give back to the game you love while developing life skills. Plus, you’ll meet great people and earn money along the way.

In 2023, SBA received the ‘Referee Program of the Year Award’ for Associations under 1000 Members from BNSW. We’d love you to be a part of the program!

All SBA members are encouraged to participate in a ‘Level 0 Community Referee Course’ to learn the basics. From there, you can referee domestic games for fun and fitness or follow the referee pathway all the way to the Olympics.

REFEREE COURSES & DEVELOPMENT

SBA holds regular referee development sessions to ensure that the standard of refereeing continues to improve.

Keep an eye out on our socials and news page for upcoming referee clinics!
