ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2026

5.30 pm, Tuesday 30 June

Nominations for the SBA Board are being called for the following positions:

DIRECTOR (FOUR (4) POSITIONS)

All positions will be elected for a two (2) year term until AGM 2028 in accordance with the SBA Constitution.  SBA is seeking the following core and technical skill sets for Directors as per the Board Skills Matrix:

• Board and Governance
• Business Administration
• Change Management
• Financial Management
• Leadership
• Legal
• Marketing and Branding
• Project Management
• Public Relations and Communications

 Nominees are strongly encouraged to read the Board Skills Matrix, Board Position Descriptions and Board Portfolios and Advisory Sub-Committee documents which outline the roles, areas of accountability and responsibility before submitting their nomination. These documents and the Nomination Forms for Life Members and Board Directors are available on the SBA website or by emailing enquiries@shoalhavenbasketball.com.au.

• All Director and Life Membership nominations must be in writing using the prescribed Nomination Form.
• Director nominations must be signed by two (2) current SBA members, and Life Membership nominations must be signed by one (1) current SBA member and the nominee.
• All Director nominees are required to give a ninety (90) second address at the AGM outlining their relevant experience and skills and how that will benefit SBA.

Nominations for Director, Life Membership and Notices of Motion must be sent by email to enquiries@shoalhavenbasketball.com.au and received no later than 5:30pm on Thursday 4 June 2026.

SBA 2025 Financial Walkthrough

All SBA members are invited to attend a walkthrough of the 2025 Audit and Financial Statements at 6:00pm on Monday, 22 June 2026 in the Mezzanine at the Shoalhaven Indoor Sports Centre.

This session provides an opportunity to meet with current Board members and gain a deeper understanding of the Association’s 2025 financial results ahead of the AGM.

The 2025 Audit and Financial Statements will be made available prior to the walkthrough, with a link emailed directly to all members.
